HYROX Brisbane 2026

Brisbane is the centre of HYROX in the Asia Pacific for the 2025/26 season. The city hosts both a regular HYROX weekend and the APAC Championship on April 11-12, 2026 -- the only regional championship in the Southern Hemisphere and the path to World Championship qualification for Asia Pacific athletes.

April brings warm, dry weather to Brisbane. South Bank sits right next to the venue and is compact enough to walk everywhere. The city's functional fitness scene has grown over the past few years, and Brisbane is a straightforward place to race.

APAC Championship: Brisbane hosts the Asia Pacific Championship on April 11-12, 2026. Open Division races at the championship qualify for the HYROX World Championship. Expect a higher level of competition and a larger international field than a regular Australian HYROX event.

APAC Championship Details

The APAC Championship is the main event of the Brisbane weekend and the regional qualifying race for Asia Pacific. Key details:

  • Dates -- April 11-12, 2026
  • Open Division finishers qualify for the HYROX World Championship
  • Athletes come from Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, India, and Southeast Asia
  • Smaller APAC fields mean better odds for age group podiums
  • Crowd -- championship events draw more spectators than regular races

If your primary goal is World Championship qualification, racing at the APAC Championship in Brisbane offers a real advantage -- the APAC field is much smaller than European or North American championships, which can translate to better qualifying positions.
